Management

Cammo is owned by Edinburgh City Council and the Friends assist the Council with its management. The Friends conduct day to day monitoring and maintenance of the park, such as litter picking and path clearance. We also do large scale initiatives such as tree planting.

The council cuts the grass, and is responsible for buildings, paths, and cutting down dangerous trees. It also controls the capital fund available for Cammo. The combination of the voluntary Friends Group and the helpful and positive Natural Heritage Officers from the Council has made Cammo the beautiful place that it is today.  We also work hand in hand with park user groups via a Cammo Management Group.
